Forum Gang: "Any group of people on a forum who target an individual who is expressing views that are different from the forum's predominate views or different from the views of the forum gang. The forum gang will then begin to accuse the independent thinker of being a shill, a troll or worse. They will begin to flag his/her posts as offensive and will incite others to shun or call for the banning of the individual from the forum."
Internet Shill: "An Internet shill is someone who promotes something or someone online for pay without divulging that they are associated with the entity they shill for."
Social Bots: "Social bots are software programs that masquerade as online users, adding posts that seem like they came from real people. But they secretly promote products or viewpoints, and some you might friend use their new connections to siphon off your private information. When coordinated by a botmaster, these social bots can wreak havoc and steal information at a massive scale."

Internet Troll: "In Internet terminology, a troll is a person who posts offensive or off-topic comments online. These comments are often made to incite arguments or emotional responses from other users."
NOTE: A troll would not be someone who disagrees in a civil and responsible manner with the group think of the forum on the topic under discussion. Free speech is going to guarantee disagreement. So rather than a troll being the problem, the actual problem might be with the commentators that call for the banning of another commentator because the commentator disagrees with the dominate theme or group think of the topic at hand.
Crude and vulgar language or personal attacks from a commentator need not and will not be tolerated.
